Are Job Search companies the answer to your Job Hunt?
Frankly, I'm not a big fan of job-search firms. I never my resume to every recruiter and will probably never submitted. I just do not see companies hire the services of a Recruiter at a time when almost all of them are to reduce costs.
In addition, given that many are looking for qualified people to work, the need for the recruitment of companies is simply not available.
I spend much time talking to job seekers in the forums and other online venues, and I found out that many of those companies seeking the services of the job search are still unemployed.
Some of my friends in the recruitment industry have problems finding a job. If they have problems finding a job, how they can work one can find you?
OK. I thought I talk a lot to the job-search company here. In all fairness, they have to tell success stories. is in fact a success story with a colleague of mine, waswork for a Fortune 200 company when he was hired to work for a Fortune 500 company.
He is an engineer who has a very good track record and 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. The Recruiter caught him at a time where work considering he went, leaving the feeling, because he was dissatisfied. Talk about timing.
The job search firm specializes in recruiting people for Fortune 1000 companies. The recruiters were very helpful and has a lotuseful information to support my friend in a successful interview. Including what the employer trains was specifically looking for a candidate.
Now you may be wondering whether I really look for me or against companies job if I am promoting them. The answer is neither. It can be helpful, yes, but you leave your fate entirely in the hands of others is never a good idea. You can not just wait for the phone to ring, just because you were a recruiter your resume.
In mySo friends I was not even looking for a job. It was just good timing on the part of recruiters. The point is, there is a difference between being popular and hopes for someone to find a job.
As many say, not all eggs in one basket. The diversification of the approach and initiative are the key. As a jobseeker, you should diversify and as many methods, the work will help you land one. If you want to use all job search companies bymeans to do so, but do not rely on them to find and preserve the work for you.
And make sure you choose a reliable company, one has the good track record and a name list of success stories. You can ask them about their turn around time, how long before they find you a job? And probably ask who are their customers. This helpful information shows the reliability of the job-search firms you use.
